Growth and Development Comes Change is an exemplary story about a group of African American Men and women fighting to uplift the voices in their community while learning new innovative ways to legalize their actions and become upstanding citizens. Many of the Men and women have come from poverty stricken backgrounds, broken homes, and domestic violence. This Group of men and women whose organization was known as one of the most notorious gangs the GD’s sheds their voice on their oppression and how their lives were positioned by adversity.

The author speaks of her walk through life as she grew and changed during her life of hardship, hurt, joy and her transformation to Islam. It’s one of a series of books outlining her life within the GD organization and Islam.
